1. I LOVE your products; how do I order?
Ordering at New Harbour Distillery is simple and easy. With today’s technology, getting your hands on our crafty spirits is secure and straightforward.
Simply go to our products page, select the product of your choice, choose the size of your product (50ml mini’s or 750ml bottle), and add to your cart. Add as many products to your cart as you wish.
After this, you will be redirected to your cart where you should first read and accept our Ts&Cs. If you’re happy, simply agree and proceed to the checkout page and select your preferred payment method. We’ve got a variety of payment options to choose from – view the choices below.
As soon as you’ve paid for your yummy goodies, we will email your order confirmation. Keep this safe as this is the reference you’ll need to use if you have any queries regarding your order.
2. When can I place my order? I am a night owl!
So are we! Our online shop is open 24/7, all days of the year.
1. What information do you need for payment?
As soon as you have proceeded to the checkout page, you would need to fill in some general questions to make sure your products are delivered to the right address. Unfortunately, we do not allow any address changes, so be sure to enter the ideal delivery point. Insert all the necessary information and make sure you’ve captured it correctly. Just follow the steps outlined on the page.
2. I have a gift card coupon, how does this work?
To receive your gift card spoils, simply insert the code in your cart where it says, ‘Gift Card’. The gift card amount will automatically be added to your cart.
Is your code not working? Make sure that you are logged into the account that the code was sent to. You can only use your code once and it needs to be inserted at the checkout page. Also, check the expiry date on your voucher.
3. I have never ordered items online and am a bit weary… What are your processes and my options?
Online orders at New Harbour are easy and secure. We have several options available to you to make the process as stress-free as possible.
When you are on the payment page, you will see a snapshot view of your order which includes:
- Contact(your email address so that we can communicate with you);
- Ship to(this is your address where your tasty product will be delivered to – no changes can be accommodated); and
- Method(this is the shipping method you selected on the previous page).
All transactions are secure and encrypted.
We have direct security integration for any Mastercard, Visa, and American Express cards. Make an easy, secure online payment with your debit, cheque, or credit card.
You can choose from multiple options which suit your needs. We accept:
- Credit Card
- Cheque Card
- Debit Card
- Instant EFT (via Ozow& Payfast)
- Mastercard, Visa, American Express
We also have a budget payment solution via Payflex – a risk-free, zero-interest payment solution paid in equal instalments.
4. How to pay with American Express, Mastercard, Visa
When you are happy with your cart and shipping, you will be directed to our payment page. We have direct security integration, and all payments are secure and encrypted.
Simply select ‘credit card’ payment, and enter:
- Card number
- Name on card
- Expiration date
- Security code
5. I feel more at ease doing an EFT, is this possible?
Yes, with Instant EFT via Ozow
We have partnered with instant EFT solution Ozow to bring you a seamless, cash-free, card-free and instant method of settling your outstanding account, making the payment process quick and easy.
It allows you to settle your account with us from any of your online bank accounts, e.g. savings account, credit card account, cheque account, etc. All you need to have to use Ozow is an online bank account. The payment is made immediately (no need to email us a proof of payment), allowing us to process your payment faster.
6. I want to pay in instalments, how does it work?
Payflex is an easy and budget-sensitive payment solution. It’s risk-free with ZERO interest! Now that’s what we call a deal!
7. I My payment failed now what?
You need to register for 3D Secure. This is the most common error for failed payments. 3D Secure is a security step for Visa and Mastercard accounts so that no one else uses your cards for retail therapy.
Your card needs to be registered for 3D Secure to be able to buy stuff online. You will be asked to register for 3D Secure if this is your first-time shopping online, just follow the screen prompts.
If it doesn’t work or if you are spinning a bit, then off to the bank you go. Contact your bank for help, as we aren’t able to help with authenticating clients’ cards.

If you are registered, then you’ll be asked for a password, or you will receive a one-time-pin (OTP) on your phone.
8. When using a discount voucher.
Let’s be honest - we all love a special offer, but we need to put a few ground rules in place.
Please note that when you receive a discount voucher, you cannot to use it on the following;
- already discounted offers;
- sale offers; or
- any other short-term special NHD are running at that time.
You are also only allowed to use one discount voucher per product. We would love for you to use it, but please be aware that it will have an expiry date... so get shopping!!
