WHISKY HOT TODDY

INGREDIENTS:

- 1 Shot of Bushveld Whisky

- 10ml of Burnt Cassia and Wild Fig Cordial Liqueur

- 1 tsp local honey

- 25ml of fresh lemon juice

- a pinch of cinnamon

- 3 cloves

- Grated nutmeg

- NHD Orange Bitters

METHOD

A warming hot toddy cocktail is the ultimate winter pick-me-up. This classic combination of sweet honey and smoky whisky is spiced with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and lemon for an invigorating drink – perfect for a chilly evening!

⚛︎ Put the honey in the bottom of a heatproof glass or mug and pour over the whisky, lemon juice and cordial liqueur.

⚛︎ Top up with boiled water and stir until the honey has dissolved.

⚛︎ Add the cinnamon and cloves, then add little grated nutmeg.

GARNISH:

Garnish with fresh rosemary and a lemon slice
